ROVER 45 parts: find out more!
The Rover 45 vehicles were produced from 1999 to 2005 in Great Britain, in Birmingham. This car had a twin model, the MG ZS, created for fans of sports vehicles.
The history of Rover 45
The new model was the successor of model 400 and differed from it, in particular, by a higher level of comfort, better equipment and, at the same time, a more affordable price. The manufacturer improved the suspension, which resulted in better handling. The new model had good dynamics. Depending on the version, the 0-100 km/h acceleration time varied and could be less than 9 seconds. Its maximum speed was 203 km/h.
Over the years of production, the manufacturer launched one generation, the RT, and one facelift. They offered a saloon and a five-door hatchback body versions. The vehicle was discontinued in April 2005.
The length, width, and height of the compact hatchback were 4362, 1696, and 1394 mm, respectively. With rear seats folded, the luggage compartment capacity could reach 717 l. The headlamps were elegantly curved and the trapezoidal radiator grille with vertical bars was decorated with a massive chromed frame. The front bumper was fitted with round fog lights. Drop-shaped housings of the wing mirrors were body-coloured. There were black mouldings on body sides.
The features of Rover 45 (the RT, facelift)
If earlier individual lights were clearly visible inside headlight clusters, after the 2004 facelift, they visually formed a single unit. There were no more chromed elements under the headlights. The outlines of the radiator grille and air intake in the centre of the front bumper became more angular. The mouldings were now colour-coded. Depending on the trim level, both axles of the car could be equipped with disc brakes. Moreover, the front one was fitted with ventilated brake discs.
