The Dodge Stratus vehicles were manufactured between 1995 and 2006. The assembly was carried out in the USA. The history of the Dodge Stratus vehicles

The car is represented by two generations and two facelifts. The first generation appeared in 1995 was made in the saloon body style. The exterior of the car was quite laconic. The vehicle was fitted with narrow long headlights with slightly rounded upper corners. The radiator grille of the Stratus saloon consisted of four compact sections. Expressive lines radiated from it on the bonnet.

The generation also included the R/T version equipped with a turbocharged engine. At first, the engine had an output of 215 hp but later it was increased up to 225 hp.

The production of the second generation started in 2001. Now, the cars were offered in the coupé body style as well. Both saloons and coupés got one and the same radiator grille consisting of four large sections. However, these cars had headlights of different shapes. Thus, these Dodge Stratus saloons features were more angular.

The coupé underwent a slight facelift in 2003. The saloon was updated a year later. In 2005, the coupé was withdrawn from production. And a year later, the production of the saloon was discontinued. Dodge Avenger became the successor of the model.

The facelifted vehicles differed from the predecessors by updated front part of the body. The radiator grille had four sections, however, it was placed higher. Besides, the Stratus got a front bumper grille the slats of which were painted body-colour. The coupé lost reflective stripes below the rear lights.

As standard, all vehicles had electric exterior mirrors and air conditioning. The saloons were equipped with disc brakes on both the axles.
