History of the Dodge Durango vehicles
There are three generations and four facelifted versions. The representatives of the first generation which appeared in 1998 had a four-wheel drive only. The SUV of the third generation has become available since 2010. The new car was built on the same platform that the famous Jeep Grand Cherokee. Since 2011 the manufacturer has stopped supplying the Durango SUVs for the markets of most European countries. The facelifted version debuted at the New York International Auto Show in 2013.
