AC Cars Ltd. was one of the first British car producing companies. It was established in 1901 by John Weller and John Portvine. The enterprise was a part of the Ford Motor Company from 1987 till 1992. In 1996 it joined the Pride Automotive Group Inc. In 2008 the company declared of cooperation with Brooklands Motor, and in 2010 – with the Iconic corporation.

Passenger sports cars are produced under this brand. First 4-wheel models were made in the coupe body version since 1913. Later on, roadsters, convertibles, 3-wheel notchbacks were launched. Cobra is the most popular roadster which entered the market in 1962. Currently a new generation of this vehicle is being designed.

- Light weight. For example, the Ace body was made of aluminium. The gross vehicle weight of this car was lower than 900 kg. Today the Mk VI TSR roadster is on sale; its body is made of carbon fiber. It can accelerate to 332 km/h due to a lighter structure. Moreover, 9 cars - complete copies of the legendary first generation Cobra were assembled manually in 2016. Aluminium elements were used in manufacturing both the former and the latter.
- Recognizable exterior. The manufacturer of modern sports cars uses a traditional design, that is why they look like classic cars of 1960s. A compact body protruding above the wheel arches, as well as small round headlights, chromed elements – all this emphasizes the sportive character of the vehicles.
- Comfortable interior. The cars are equipped with leather seats with lateral support. Moreover, the steering wheel and the dashboard are also trimmed with leather. An air conditioner is optionally available.
