These lubricants demonstrate great operation properties both in summer and in winter: the letter W means that they protect the engine and its parts at sub-zero temperature well, and the figure 30 – at above-zero temperature.
The figure 10 means the product viscosity class at sub-zero temperatures. It can be used in areas with cold winters but where the minimum environmental temperature isn’t lower than −30 °C. In such conditions SAE 10W-30 oil retains the thickness sufficient for oil pump work and engine start.
The figure 30 indicates the dynamic and kinematic viscosity of the lubricant. They are 2.9 mPa⋅s and 9.3–12.6 mm2/s correspondingly. Thus, this product can provide secure protection of engine elements even in case of overheating, and ensure lower fuel consumption due to low rotating resistance of the parts.

It is only allowed to use the products of the viscosity recommended by the car manufacturer.
