Specification for VW 502 00 motor oils was approved by Volkswagen Group concern in 1997. It determines standards of lubricants for high capacity petrol engines with direct fuel injection. By its viscosity and composition, it meets requirements of АСЕА А3 and C3 categories. It is suitable for the following cars: Audi, Volkswagen, Škoda and Seat.

VW 502 00 motor oils are produced with different viscosities: from 0W-30 to 10W-60 and 20W-50. They retain high density at extreme temperature, thus guaranteeing strength of the oil film even in conditions of constant intensive loads. They are recommended for engines with intervals of oil change of about 15,000 km. They can have high as well as low sulphated ash content.
