Cutting pliers

Nippers are plier-type tools that are used for cutting small metal and plastic items, such as wire or cable, when repairing car wiring. The design of the device includes cutting blades, handles acting as levers, and a return spring.

Types

1. Use the devices for their intended purpose; do not use them to cut items with the thickness exceeding the maximum allowable thickness. This value is specified on the package.

3. Control the applied effort, do not exert excessive force.
4. During operation, make sure that the blades of the tool close completely; if this is impossible, a larger one should be used instead.
5. Place side cutters at right angle to the workpiece.
6. Store the tools in a well-ventilated room. In case of contact with moisture, wipe them dry to avoid corrosion.
7. Periodically check the tools for damage and lubricate them with machine oil.
