Production of Mazda 6 cars started in 2002 and continues still. Cars are assembled in Japan, China and Russia. Earlier the model was also produced in the USA. Premiere of third generation restyling took place on European Motor Show Brussels in 2015. The renewed sedan and estate were presented to the public. Streamlined model appearance is due to smooth and elegant forms of its body which was created according to principles of KODO: Soul of Motion design philosophy. The enlarged radiator grille frame visually connects headlights, which are now halogen in basic configuration. Wheel arches became more dome-shaped and niches for the round fog lights got diamond shape.

The model’s interior is stylish and modern. Height-adjustable front seats with optional heating, air-conditioner, acoustic system with USB and AUX ports and four loudspeakers are responsible for comfort in the spacious cabin of Mazda 6 estate and sedan. Moreover, the model is equipped with the on-board computer as standard. The richest trim level includes 7-inch colour screen and Bose audio system with stereo sound.

The cars are known for high safety level. In their basic configuration they are equipped with dynamic stability control system, traction control system, tyre pressure control, emergency brake warning. Parking sensors and rear view camera are available in extended trim levels.
