The 5-door crossover Lexus RX has been released from 1998 till present time. The car appeared on the European market in 2000. The car is produced in Japan and Canada. In that period the manufacturer presented hybrid modification of the model with one petrol and two electric motors.

AL10 generation came to the market in 2009. The cars were basically equipped with the keyless entry system, SmartAccess and UV-filter for windows. The exterior power mirrors were provided with heating. The multimedia system of the model had OLED-display, Bluetooth interface. The navigation system touchscreen was replaced with Remote Touch control, developed using Haptic technology.

Debut of the fourth model generation took place at New York International Auto Show in 2015. The car has eccentric appearance thanks to the sculptured front bumper with huge radiator grille, resembling a hourglass by shape. The headlights became narrow and got sharpened corners, and the tiny fog lights were placed in the chrome-decorated frames. Stylish power bulge appeared on the bonnet, and the wheel arches significantly enlarged. The prolonged rear lights are connected to each other by narrow chromed bar; the reflectors are mounted vertically.
