The history of the trademark Semperit goes back to 1824 when an Austrian Johann Nepomuk Reithoffer made a decision to organize the production of clothes made of rubber-coated fabric. In 1900 the production of automobile tyres was started and the name Semperit was used for the first time. In 1912 The Semperit Group Corporation was formed as the result of the consolidation of several companies.
