The cars were manufactured in versions of 3- and 5-door hatchbacks and had leaf springs on the rear suspension. After the 1986 facelift cars received electric outer mirrors and velour interior trimming. Moreover, the manufacturer has updated the windshield design and equipped the rear suspension with coil springs. Version with electronic fuel injection engine came into the market.

Features of V generation Suzuki Swift
The fifth model generation debuted in 2016 in version of 5-door hatchback. The cars came into the European market in spring of 2017 after presentation on International Geneva Motor Show. Cars are made on the Heartect platform, which allowed to reduce the model weight almost by a ton. Vehicles look more sportive due to increased radiator grille and massive front bumper. The latter received an elegant decorative element that visually unites the fog lights. Headlights have integrated LED daytime running lights now. Sports style prevails in the car’s interior due to D-shaped steering wheel and front seats with lateral support.
The richest trim of the Swift hatchback has emergency braking, forward detection, lane keep assistance, driver drowsiness detection, adaptive cruise control and other systems.
