The second restyling of the first generation debuted on Geneva Motor Show in 2016. The crossover front part significantly changed: arrangement of the main body elements resembles “X” letter. So, the large radiator grille is divided into two parts by a wide black bar, on which the license plate is fixed. On the upper side the halogen (in basic trim level) optics is mounted close to the grille, on the lower – enlarged fog lights frames. The feature of the front bumper of ASX crossover are fashioned chromed trim elements. As standard, the rear LED lights and 16-inch wheel rims are installed on the car.

The crossover interior is very spacious, 5 people can settle in it comfortably. The car is equipped with a panoramic sunroof in top trim level. Volume of the luggage compartment is 419 liters, and 1219 liters – with folded rear seats. Thanks to low loading height, is is easy and convenient to place a cargo.

The dashboard is designed in a minimalistic style. The car multifunction steering wheel is adjustable by height and reach and has leather trimming in extended trim levels. The multimedia system touchscreen is integrated into the central console. In top configuration the car is equipped with Rockford Fosgate audio system with nine speakers.

As standard, the car is provided with seven airbags and such systems as: hill start assist (HSA), emergency brake assist (BA), dynamic stability control (MASC), ABS with brake force distribution. Extended trim levels include the rear parking sensors, auto dimming interior mirror, rearview camera.
