What are semi-trailing arms?

Semi-trailing suspension arms are usually used on the rear axle, but can be found in the front suspension as well. They are generally made of steel or aluminium. They also differ in shape, size and cross-section. Depending on the chassis design, they can have two or three attachment points. The connection types used are: bolted joint, ball joint, bush. It is very important to only buy products that comply with your car’s specifications. Otherwise, the driving performance of the vehicle may be impaired.
