History of Citroen C3 cars

There were 3 car generations produced, the second generation underwent restyling. The model was presented on International Motor Show in Frankfurt and in Bologna in 2001; it came into the market in January, 2002. D&G logo was on the car body fenders and the luggage compartment lid. Seats were upholstered with leather and also had fashion house symbols. One could additionally order 7 logos with Swarovski crystals for exterior decoration.

In 2008 a limited series was produced in cooperation with Pinko model house. Car brand and model names, Pinko and Citroen logos, sills, door handles and upper parts of mirror housings were painted gold. The rear lights were transparent with blacking effect. Interior elements were trimmed with light-pink leather and stitched with gold thread.

A new five-door hatchback was presented to public during Paris Motor Show in 2016. The car got remarkable futuristic exterior. Particularly, it has a panoramic sunroof which allows to change passenger compartment lighting conditions. The car looks even more attractive due to Airbump® system.
