The Audi A6 cars have been produced since 1994 till the present time. The production is carried out in Germany, India and Russia. In 2005, Audi A6 was honoured with the World Car of the Year award.
The History of the Audi A6
During the time of the existence of the model, there have been produced 4 generations as well as 3 updates. An important difference between the car of the first generation and its predecessor, the Audi 100, was a powerful diesel engine. The car of the second generation, the C5, became even more comfortable, besides, it was fitted with an extended package of safety elements. The representatives of the fourth generation, the C7, were assembled on the same platform as Audi A7, the MLB. The cars of this generation are manufactured with the saloon and estate body-styles. It should be also noted that since 2012, a hybrid version of this model with the saloon body-style has been produced.
The Features of the Audi A6 (C7 facelift)
The update of the model of the IV generation made in 2011 took place in 2014. The debut of the facelifted car was at the Paris Auto Show the same year. The car was available with different body-styles. Thus, depending on your needs, you can choose an Audi A6 estate or saloon.
Radiator grille and bumper were subjected to changes. It became possible to use Matrix LED headlights.
