My Smart Fortwo EQ has a 400v main battery and a 12v car battery. The system is regulated to 14.7 volts at the cigarette sockets.I only do a few miles so I need a faster charge rate for the 12v battery. I have measured it today at 3-4 Amps.It appears that I need a battery charger for a 12v lead/acid battery that will charge at about 7 Amps from a 14.7 Amp. DC input.Can you recommend anything ?
