Sportive saloon Chrysler Vision had been produced since 1993 till 1997 in Canada. In the USA this model was available under Eagle brand. It was also sold as Chrysler Concorde and Dodge Intrepid. The model is presented by one generation. It debuted in 1992 on North American Auto Show in Detroit. The manufacturer used “cab forward” conception when designing saloon: the car cabin became larger due to the short bonnet and rather long wheelbase – 2870 mm. Due to this the passenger compartment increased by 75% in comparison with standard cars of that time. Moreover, important advantage of Chrysler Vision cars was low aerodynamic drag coefficient: it was only 0.31.

Features of I generation Chrysler Vision cars

Car length was 5121 mm, width – 1890 mm, height – 1430 mm. Front body part design was performed in austere style: the car got narrow prolonged headlights and elegant bumper decorated with narrow relief lines. The brand logo was located above its central part from which protruding lines were stretched out. The door handles and outer mirror bodies were painted in body colour.

The rear-view mirror with anti-reflective coating was presupposed in the cabin. The car was equipped with power windows. The function of electric adjustment was presupposed for seats of the driver and front passenger. 3 people could sit comfortably on the rear seat row of Chrysler Vision. Leather upholstery of seats could be ordered at extra cost. Luggage compartment capacity was 510 liters.

The cars were equipped with the trip computer and high-quality acoustic system. CD-players were installed in Vision since 1996. ABS, the traction control system, cruise control and central lock provided high safety level.
