Mann-Filter engine air filters are produced by the German company Mann+Hummel Gruppe. It was founded in 1941 in Ludwigsburg by entrepreneurs Adolf Mann and Erich Hummel. Nowadays the company has more than 60 subsidiaries. Its products hold strong positions in the premium price segment and are popular around the globe.

Types

By shape:

  • cylindrical;
  • ring-shaped;

Mann-Filter engine air filters which can be bought on a budgetin our online-shop, can come in individual shape. Such components are usually developed together with car makers for the exact car models aiming at rationally organizing the engine compartment.

By filtration method:

  • Single-stage. The filter element stops both large and small contaminants at the same time. Such components can be used in areas with clean air.
  • Two-stage. They are equipped with a separator and impeller which remove most hard particles even before the airflow reaches the filter element. Due to this service life of the latter is significantly increased. Spare parts of this type are made for working in conditions of heavy dust.

Some components can be equipped with a secondary filter element. It should protect the intake line from dust when replacing the main filter element in the field.
